Based on general consenus, we are swapping 100g of stash yarn. This means that the yarn you send your swap partner must NOT have been used before, and it must come with the original label. but does not have to be bought with your partner spcifically in mind :) Please don't send something you wouldn't be happy to get yourself - no one wants 100g of dodgy coloured acrylic (and if you do please remember that others may not) ;)
For yarn such as natural dye studio which doesn't come with a label, please make sure you tell your partner what it is!
Signups will be open until the end of October, partners will be sent out by 9th November, and packages must be sent by 1st December, to make sure they are there in time for Christmas.
In order to keep things easy, people will be matched on yarn weight preference. So you will be asked to choose a group (i.e laceweight, sock yarn etc). you will send and receive a relevant yarn for your group (so if you send laceweight, you will get a different lacewight in return)
Because we are all swapping stash yarn, please don't go overboard with your package. The total outlay should be a couple of quid for postage, as we are all saving for Christmas. If you would like to include a card or small token gift feel free, but bare in mind you may receive only yarn in return.
